• Coat Condition 

Please understand that your pet's comfort is my top priority. 

In the event that your pet's coat is severely matted, I may need to shave the mats out or clip down the coat completely,  this carries an increased risk of clipper burn, hematoma, abrasions, and cuts, for which I cannot be held accountable. I will do my best to prevent these issues, but in many extreme matting conditions, they may be unavoidable. Additionally, since matted pets take more time to groom, there will be a minimum fee of £10  added to the regular grooming price if your pet's coat is matted.

If humane de-matting is possible, I will undertake it at my discretion and in compliance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006, which aims to protect all vertebrate animals from pain, injury, and suffering. However, during a routine groom, de-matting is limited to 15 minutes maximum, and an additional charge will be added for shave downs as they require more time, labor, products, and equipment than a routine trim.

• Restraints

 Sometimes, to provide specific grooming services, I may be required to temporarily muzzle or restrain your pet in a humane way. If your pet(s) become unmanageable during the grooming process, such as being uncooperative in the bath or attempting to bite, with the intention to cause harm, you acknowledge that you will be contacted to retrieve your pet(s). You will only be responsible for the fees for the grooming services that have been completed up to that point. Additionally, depending on the severity of the situation, the grooming services may need to be discontinued. 

• Fleas

 If your pet is found to have fleas, I will charge a fee of £12 in addition to the cost of the groom, where your pet will be bathed in a flea shampoo and the salon disinfected.
